Content Management System (Website Builder)
You Maintain Your Web Site
Once all design aspects of a website are complete, your organization will be trained to use the Site Builder application within the Content Management System so that all website additions, edits, deletions, and other changes can be done by your staff. We will be available to assist you.
Domain Name
Your domain name is the address that is entered into a computer in place of a standard IP address to open your website. For example, rather than entering 10.0.200.300 (the IP address), you would enter http:www.yourorganization.com to open your website. That address is the URL. The www.yourorganization.com section is your domain name. Your registered domain name is yourorganization.com.
If you have not purchased your domain name yet, that will need to be done before your website will appear on the World Wide Web. A domain name registration site is the website from which you buy your domain name. To find a domain name registrar, such as Network Solutions, GoDaddy, Register.com, Yahoo, and others, enter “domain name” into any search engine.
Hosting the Domain Name
We will host both your website and your domain name.
Email
We provide email within our Content Management System
We will also provide email for the custom static web sites we design and host.
Web Site Files
Our Site Builder application does not create and maintain static HTML web pages. Instead, it maintains the information to render HTML pages in a database.
Samples
See sample designs on the right panel.
Database Integration
Our Content Management System includes a website builder and other applications that integrate to create an Intranet / Extranet business system. You can enable and disable any application

Hosting
Web Partner Group can host the custom web-based applications we develop, the custom static web sites we design, and we do host our Content Management System including the web sites, domain names, and email.
The monthly fee for the Content Management System includes the license fee for the software which includes upgrades and new applications.
Design Process
For some this will be your first website, others will want us to replicate what they have plus integrate forms, newsletters, or calendars, and others want to start over with a new design. Some clients will want custom static sites while others want the features of a Content Management System.
Many clients have preferences but arriving at a final design is frequently a process of narrowing down the options. We will ask you to provide as much information as possible to help us prepare mockup designs to help you narrowing down the option and feel good about your design.
We will ask for logos, brochures, graphics, etc. We will ask you to respond to a check list of things that will help you focus on what you need. We will ask for your preferences and recommendations.
Our designers will pull the information and preferences together and create three examples. From these designs we try to establish a more definitive baseline of preferences and needs. We can modify and expand on one design, blend designs, change colors, change fonts, change layout, add graphics, etc.
Sometimes we can go from these examples directly to the design of a functional website. Sometimes it takes a couple additional steps until the example reflects what you want in the design. Once we have the design we will create the website including additional pages, navigation, etc.
The actual design will be completed in phases and we will present the website to you at each phase for your input. You will be assigned a project manager to coordinate the design, graphics, content, testing, review, and acceptance.
Websites are a work-in-progress. We encourage our clients to limit the project of creating a website to that which is required or the minimal of what is actually needed. You can always enhance, improve, and add to a website.
Some websites are a few pages and others are enormous. The time to design an average 7 page website using our Content Management System is approximately 40 hours – this time will easily double for a custom static website.
Training
Web Partner Group provides one Content Management System training class for up to four members of your organization.
Steps to be taken prior to training:
- Website set up has been completed.
- Domain name has been purchased.
- All users of Web Partner Group software must use Internet Explorer and a Windows-based operating system.
- Need name, email address, and phone number of each student prior to scheduling training. These will be sent to this address, Training@WebPartnerGroup.com, once a time and date have been agreed to for the training session.
- Each person needs to configure their email software to receive emails from invitations@livemeeting.com and reservations@conferencemgr.com.
Support
Your client interface provides a means to submit requests for support. Any questions or problems should be submitted through the Support Desk application within the Content Management System.
Explanations and instructions for all applications are available by clicking the Help button at the top of any screen.
We provide your organization with 10 support incidents at no charge after which we charge a nominal $10 per support incident. There is never a charge if the product is not working as it should.
Payment and Pricing
We require a $200 non-refundable deposit that will be credited toward the first $200 of work. We invoice online weekly and accept all major credit cards. All design services are billed at $40 per hour. Monthly hosting fees are invoiced in the same way.
